pleasant surprises in abundance since my last post. ian gave me a white gold necklace with a pearl pendant for our anniversary. a simple bluish-white pearl set in a four petal flower base surrounded by tiny crystals. i love it. hehe!!

i got him a striped lavender and white raoul shirt with a discreet print. it was a splurge but for him, definitely worth it. zy helped me pick it out when we met to go tanning last friday with nad. so much for tanning.. haha! juz read zy's blog entry and you'll know what i mean. climbing coconut trees and being slapped with sand. hah! it got pretty interesting.

anyway, ian planned this surprise outing on saturday so i was pretty much kept in suspense. he mentioned something about a boat ride along sg river but i got way more than what i suspected. let me walk you through what happened..

we had lunch at hard rock cafe. reminded me of the good old days when we used to go there to eat and how i got my first taste of partying. he had his favourite bbq chicken and i opted for nz pepper steak. we skipped our usual nachos and tried the chilli crab dip instead. yummy!! its like eating chilli crabs without the shells.

then we headed to marina square. we parked at esplanade and got to scribble on these balls that will be thrown into sg river. neat huh?

afterward we got tickets to watch the holiday at gv marina. its a great show really. a nice sweet romantic comedy/drama. not what guys would want to watch but i'm glad he arranged it cause he knew i've been wanting to see the show. so we had an hour to go before the movie started and he asked if i wanted to go for the boat ride. i didn't want to rush so i said we could go after the movie. what i didn't know was the other surprise coming my way.

after the show, ian made some excuse about needing to use the toilet urgently and walked super fast. we passed by many toilets but he said he wanted a 'clean' toilet. from marina all the way to city hall till we reach swissotel the stamford. followed him all the way up to the 70th floor... equinox........ EQUINOX!!! my first time ever dining at equinox. i was so not dressed right for dinner. as in jeans, sweater top & pumps.. but the view was unbelievable...

we got our window seat after all. that made me smile.

dinner was alright. you only pay for the view actually. i think my main course was around 50 bucks? yup its 2 tiger prawns, 2 scallops, and a small scoop of mashed parsnip..

his was oven baked chicken breast..

well we're still happy in the end.. seriously, you should give the place a try at least once in your life. come dressed to the nines and they'll make you feel like a million bucks. come in slippers and shorts, they'll kick you out the window. haha!!

thanx for the day baby.. i appreciate all the effort you put into planning last saturday.. it was really special to me.. i love you...

by the way, i'm no longer using the bimbo phone. helllooooo chocolate!!!!
